Isopods are great recyclers of bioactive setups and are a beneficial addition to terrariums that come in a variety of colours, shapes, and sizes.
Any decaying organic material is fair game for these hardcore munching machines. They’ll make sure that any rotting plant matter or animal waste is taken care of efficiently, leaving your bioactive enclosure looking and smelling clean!
We recommend adding these live, invertebrate decomposers (clean-up crew/custodians) at least 7-14 days prior to introducing your reptile or amphibian to the enclosure.
