Description
Ariana and Evans Charred Sandalwood & Bourbon All Natural Hybrid Beer Pomade, 4oz – Medium Hold
Our all new pomade was designed as a hybrid. The best of oil based and water based formulas. We decided to keep it simple and start with the basics. One scent and one unscented offering. The scented pomade will be light, but you’ll enjoy the new Charred Sandalwood and Bourbon scent on this one.
Let’s talk about formulation. I’m using beer instead of just water, along with aloe juice and a small amount of vegetable glycerin. You’ll notice by our ingredients, we use ingredients you won’t need to look up to decipher what they actually are. Our ingredients are natural, healthy for your hair and scalp. The hold is a light to medium hold and finish is more or less a matte type with a slight shine. Our pomade is easy to apply and easy to wash off.
Benefits of Using Beer
The proteins in beer bind to the hair shaft, which also creates volume. So if you have fine, thin hair, this can deliver tons of volume. I personally have fine hair and I see and feel a difference in volume.
There’s no alcohol, so it won’t damage the hair. When I was younger we all knew about beer and we used it as a rinse. Try it at home. I guarantee you’ll feel a difference just using beer as a rinse at home. It just feels different.
Malt and hops in beer are loaded with protein, which nourishes and strengthens your hair. By putting beer in hair, dry and damaged hair can be repaired to its former self, thanks to the nutrients. The protein binds to hair that’s become dehydrated from blow drying, styling and harsh weather, leaving the hair with more body.
The benefits of beer for hair doesn’t stop there. Using beer in hair can also make your hair shinier. As the proteins bind with hair cuticles, the newly smoothed surface will better reflect light, making your hair look shinier. Beer also contains B vitamins, which will help make your strands shiny. That being said, my first offering is more of a matte/light shine look.
